Rapaholic - A New Kind of Addiction

[ad_1]

What does music means to you? I can't think of a single person who doesn't enjoy music. Music they is a language of our soul, it's an expression of feelings, of deepest emotion of a person. It is a story of our life.

Music is classified in different genres like country, pop, hip-hop, R&B, new wave, rock and roll, classical, jazz, rap and so on.

Rap is growing popular nowadays. Famous and unknown rappers are every corner. This sound starts in 1980's and believes that evolves generally from African and black American. The origin of rap can be traced to the tribesmen of West Africa and another is in the form of stories of Jamaican folk that was called "toasts." These are stories in rhyme from narrative poems.

Basically, rap is a language that speaks in rhyme so it is not necessary for you to have a good voice to do that. That is why many young people are rapaholic [http://www.youtube.com/twicksdarapper] or got hooked with this kind of music.

Eminem, T-Pain, 50 Cents, Nelly, Ne-Yo, Ludacris and Snoop Dogg are just few famous rappers today and there are many of them in the industry.

Rap is often criticized by other people, saying that the lyrics of their music are full of non-sense stuffs and talks about sex, drugs and using abusive words. They are even being labeled as a threat to the society.

Dennis Rodman once said "....I think rap is less about educating people about the black community and more about making money."

But according to Ludacris "I'm just basically spillin' out my emotions to the world. 'Cause rap is about emotion. And I want you to feel what I'm feelin', 'cause that's what it's all about."

Even if rappers are being criticized, they are still growing in numbers and by the way rap is music and music is an expression of feelings and therefore it is an art.
