This is the manual process how to install WordPress 4 or 4+ in a cPanel. I am using HostGator for the demo, you can use any hosts, the process will be similar.

I wouldn't install using quick install script or any sorts, because they don't give maximal security like changing wp_ table prefix, _wrdp1 database name.
For beginning it might not disturb you, but when your site is growing, security will be anyone's concern. And you will start to wonder how to change those stuff. This is why, best to install it manually and correctly, and all will be done in the future, no need to change this and that.
